Changes to Car Parking on Campus

Parking arrangements on campus are changing.  Visitors to Special Collections please note!

In response to increasing demand from staff and students for parking on campus, our Estates colleagues have changed visitor parking procedures.  The new car park for visitors is in front of Richmond Building.  From today, all visitors to campus will be directed to this car park – permits available from Richmond Reception  only, first come, first served.  Disabled visitors with Blue Badges can continue to park in disabled bays elsewhere on campus.

Special Collections staff will no longer be able to send out permits in advance and it will not be possible to park nearer to the Library.   We urge our visitors to use public transport if at all possible.  If not, please be aware that a space on campus can’t be guaranteed (certainly not in term time): you may find it easier to use nearby public parking.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.
