Reading Room Reshuffled!

Our recent re-organisation of the Special Collections Reading Room and printed book storage went ever so well, thanks to careful planning.  Thanks to John Brooker, the Special Collections Assistant, for his attention to detail and hard work which made it all go so smoothly.  Thanks also to our readers and enquirers who bore with us patiently while we did the work.

Our reader spaces are now much less cramped.  We have room to run bigger outreach events, room for growth of key printed book collections, and much better storage for particular books, especially the oversize collections (i.e. the BIG books!).   More improvements are planned for the future …

If you have visited us in person and have suggestions on how to improve our  facilities for you, please comment on this blog or contact us.
