The J.B. Priestley Library building, where Special Collections is located, is being refurbished. The current phase involves linking to the old Communal Building, to create space more appropriate for 21st century learning styles. Obviously this means upheaval, noise, and pressure on study space. There should be little direct impact on Special Collections services during this phase, but we do apologise for the noise and anything else that may disturb your visit!
PS 22 April. In a separate project, the roof of the floor 2 extension is to be repaired. There will be disruption for about 5 weeks, though drilling will be confined to 6-11 am. This should have less impact on SC readers. Sorry about further disruption.
