Cars, vans, moped outside Bradford Institute of Technology 1964

The way we parked

Thanks to major building work on the new Health Studies building, the University of Bradford visitor car park will be closed from 21 April.  There will be no designated visitor parking for several months to come, so visitors will be asked to park at Shearbridge Green or Longside parking areas.  Please avoid bringing your car onto campus when visiting Special Collections, particularly during termtime.  If this is unavoidable, please let us know that you are coming so we can try to make arrangements for you.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused!

How to get to the University from the railway stations.

West Yorks Metro site about the free citybus (a boon in bad weather or for those who don’t do hills).

Advice on the alternative car parks: Shearbridge can be accessed via Great Horton Road (either direction), entrance next to Unique (Sports Centre) and Longside car parks are best approached via Great Horton Road and Shearbridge Road then turn on to Longside Lane for access to the car parks.
